That time we where on TV

It wasn't an act of Vandalism or Hate, we worried about that.
The driver who crashed was trying to get away from a hit and run that they committed a few minutes earlier.
They sped down our street at over 70mph and lost control. Crashed into two trees, knocked over a city light pole, crashed through our Hanukkah light show into my Wife's car, sending it 13 feet forward and totaling it. Their car spun sideways and put a large hole in our garage wall, making it unstable and red-tagged. Supports are being put in so the engineer can evaluate the house for repairs safely.
The driver was dazed and got out and talked to us and apologized. Then he ran off. My neighbor chased him while on the phone with 911 for eight blocks till the cops could get him in custody.
He left two crime scenes in under ten minutes. The young man made poor choices, and we feel bad for him.
